The International Business Company (IBC) is a simple but flexible business structure ideal for a wide range of uses. With the adaptation of a territorial taxation system in 2019, an IBC is now permitted to conduct business locally and is not subject to any Seychelles’ tax or duty on income or profits if it does not derive assessable income (i.e. Seychelles’ sourced income) in Seychelles.


2018 has seen a significant increase in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) surpassing expectations, reaching USD 158.5 million, this is according to data compiled by the Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS). The actual 2018 FDI figure of USD 158.5 million vs. the forecasted amount for the same period of USD 139.2 million, represents a 14% increase in FDI. This increase brings the FDI amount for 2018 on-par with pre-moratorium levels which impacted large hotel developments in Seychelles.   

'Del Place' is a beach-front restaurant located opposite L'Ilette Island at Port Glaud, which opened its doors in 2004 by Mr. Pierre Del place. Investment Advisory paid Mr. Del Place and his team a courtesy visit at his restaurant on Thursday 21st March, to gain better insight on his business operations, constraints and to offer assistance and advice where needed. 


‘Oscars – The Bar & Grill in Seychelles’ located at Anse la Mouche on Mahe is a restaurant which prides itself on offering authentic fish dishes. On Friday 15th March, Mr. Milen Velikov, owner of the restaurant welcomed members of the Investment Advisory and Investment Promotion team for an after-care visit.


Mr. Marc D’Offay the owner of Shark’s Ice Cream welcomed SIB’s Investment Advisory team for a courtesy visit on Tuesday 05th March 2019, at their factory at Providence Industrial Estate. The team met with Mr. D’Offay in his office, and then were taken for a show-round of the factory. 





The Seychelles Ports Authority is inviting sealed Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified Consultancy Firms to provide “Consultancy Services for the feasibility study to assess the need for ship repair and dry docking in Seychelles”. The EOI is expected to lead to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the above mentioned Consultancy Services from short-listed applicants.
